"In her documentary photographs, Maidje skillfully and sensitively focuses on young people. The age between childhood and adulthood, the period in which one belongs neither to one group nor to the other, contains a special magic for her. In her work "d'Jugnd im Innviertel" she not only dives deep into club and social structures, she also manages to capture individual moments in the everyday life of young people in the Innviertel. Maidje provides insight into moments from the lives of young people that often remain invisible to both adults and children, thus bringing to light an age group that deserves more attention, especially in times of pandemic and crisis."
