"Ingrid Strasser, was born in Aspach in 1941 and worked in the field of major nursing as an operating room nurse until her retirement. After that she worked for Doctors without Borders in crisis areas in Sri Lanka, Kosovo, Ethiopia, Sierra Leone, Afghanistan, Liberia, Syria, Iraq, Sudan, Pakistan and Lebanon between 1998 and 2008. In 1999, she was honored with the silver merit badge of the state of Vienna."
